A man has fallen to his death at a busy shopping centre in Birmingham.
The man fell from the upper level of the Bullring Centre at around 9pm on Friday and was pronounced dead at the scene – leaving Christmas shoppers shocked.
Police are not treating the fall as suspicion and have informed the man’s next-of-kin.
The Bullring was reportedly closed following the incident.
In a statement, West Midlands Police said: “We were called at 9.04pm on Friday (13 December) after a man fell from the upper level of the Bullring.
“The man sadly died at the scene.
“His next-of-kin have been informed. His death is not being treated as suspicious and will be referred to the coroner.”
The Bullring did not respond to Sky News’ request for comment.
