Comedian Jack Whitehall has been confirmed as the host of this year’s BRIT Awards.
It will be the fifth time fronting the music awards for the 36-year-old funny man, who previously hosted in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Whitehall shared the news with a short video on social media, along with the message: “Don’t call it a comeback”.
One of the hosts of last year’s show, presenter and DJ Roman Kemp, commented on Whitehall’s Instagram post, saying: “Return of the king”.
Along with Kemp, Maya Jama and Clara Amfo also fronted last year’s event.
In a statement from the event organisers, Whitehall said: “They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with The BRIT Awards – it is my favourite night of the year, and I am delighted to be invited back to host in 2025.”
BRIT committee chair Damian Christian called Whitehall “a true professional,” and said he would “keep everyone on their toes” while making “one of the toughest gigs on TV look effortless”.

Harriet Rose and Munya Chawawa will present the red-carpet event ahead of the BRITs ceremony.
Away from his comedy, Whitehall is well known for Netflix series, Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father, and its spin-off show, Fatherhood With My Father.
The father and son act are currently touring the world together in Jack And Michael Whitehall Live.
Whitehall has also starred in TV comedies Fresh Meat and Bad Education, as well as being a panel member on A League Of Their Own.
Whitehall and model Roxy Horner, who have been dating for five years, announced their engagement in December. They have a one-year-old daughter together, Elsie.
The Brits take place on Saturday 1 March at The O2 arena in London and will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX.
