At least 12 people have been injured in a shooting in Toronto, police have said.
Four of the victims have non-life-threatening injuries – but the extent of the injuries for the others was unknown at this time, officers said.
Toronto police said the suspect was “wearing a black balaclava,” was seen “fleeing in [a] silver car” and is still at large.
They said they were called to reports of a shooting at a pub in Scarborough, a district of Toronto, at around 10.39pm local time.
Officers are urging people to avoid the scene at Progress Ave and Corporate Drive.
Toronto paramedics told Canada’s CP24 Media it was a “dynamic situation” and that the injuries ranged from minor to critical.

“I have spoken to (Toronto Police Chief Myron) Demkiw and he has assured me all necessary resources have been deployed. This is an early and ongoing investigation – police will provide further details.
