Five people have been taken to hospital after a bus crashed into a high-rise block of flats in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Hamilton Court in Calside, Paisley, at around 12.20pm on Wednesday.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said it sent a range of resources, including ambulances, special operations response teams, a trauma team and a critical care paramedic.
Three patients were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, while two others were transported to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing.”
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area as a number of road closures have been put in place, including in Calside Avenue, Polsons Crescent, Craw Road and Alexandra Gate.

The single-decker vehicle involved was from McGill’s Buses.
A spokesperson for the firm said: “This is a live incident and McGill’s personnel are in attendance to establish the detail of the crash.
“We cannot comment further at this stage.”
